We’ve been certified and teaching Yoga since 2008. The foundation of our practice combines the physical body with the subtle body, joining mind, and Spirit. By integrating body, breath, movement, and mindful awareness, we strive to promote an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in your health and wellbeing.

We’ve been a practicing Yoga Studio since 2017. The foundation of our studio combines the physical with the inner emotional and spiritual journey. At SoHum Southern, we use our extensive training and in-depth understanding of the human body and psyche to teach and cultivate awareness of one’s own practice and life process.

Pregnant Yoga

This particular class helps build a strong core from which one can transition into new positions and exercises. Prenatal Yoga classes are dedicated to supporting women on their journeys to becoming mothers. These classes are a proactive step towards your self-care at this time, giving your body the opportunity to become as fertile as possible. We do this by taking the focus to the whole body (not just its parts) and relaxing the body, mind, and soul to reduce stress; with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy pregnancy, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform up through labor and delivery.
Yin Yoga

This popular class is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together. Gentle Flow

Focus on the present moment. Among its many benefits, this class helps improve numerous aspects of your life including reaction time and short term memory. Those who have tried this practice have described feeling more relaxed and less distracted by their fleeting thoughts, demonstrating an enhanced ability to solve problems and recall information better.
Art + Yoga
